Fairytales

There are times I sit and think of you

and wonder why I cry

Until now no apologies were spoken

you didn't even try

I haven't seen you in so long

not sure how I should feel

Cause once upon a time

I thought your love for me was real

The fairytales are over

and I'm growing up so fast

I like to sit and reminisce

just think about the past

The people who really care

surround me everyday

The ones who have always been there

to help along the way...
