Falling

It seems like we go in circles, spinning out of sight,
Getting caught up in these arguments that are nothing
if not self destructing.

So yell a little louder, I'll drown a little deeper,
and we'll keep right on this path.
No peaceful reaction, simple dissatisfaction,
a fraction of the people we used to be.
We'll find a way somehow,
though maybe not right now,
but it won't be this way forever.
