Come for a VisitA Poem by Dana Ferguson
Pictures on the wall,
banging to a beat. Rugs rolling and unrolling, fringes nipping at your feet. Windows open wide, then close you up inside. You shouldn't come to visit, but I promise if you don't you'll miss it... Come in I'll take your jacket, and toss it on the hatchet. Have a cup of tea, and you won't want to flee. My cozy home houses only one, but I'll let you stay with me. I'll make you stay with me. © 2015 Dana FergusonReviews
