Mother

Mother

A Poem by danalyn

Waves upon waves

Waiting upon waiting

Worries upon worries

Wallowing alone

Why did I snap? At her?

A sliver of anger

Toward no one deserving

Her, a victim, of such slivers

When my love for sharp tongues

And nasty scenes of sin

Starts to overwhelm my tiredness

And the world stills at my anger

Willows of time passed, women plucking its stems

Feeling the blue petals never aging

Swaying my body against its racing feeling

Yet such flowers died, when I raged at her

I'm so sorry
