NEW WHITE SUNRISE

NEW WHITE SUNRISE

A Poem by Dane Osborne

The False god who hypnotized everybody
By looking into their eyes giving them a
Deep lasting feeling of love,
A dangerous and venomous love
Which begat the fury of a Black Mamba,
Will fall and wither away
Upon the new white sunrise where invisible children
Become real and liberate those who walk in slumber.

The identity of God shown for what it is:
A yellow dandelion which grows from dirty concrete
And spawns birth to a young child's virgin laughter.
