I Am Daniel Poem

I Am Daniel Poem

A Poem by Daniel Brooks

I Am Daniel

I am a strong young man

I wonder why everybody makes fun of me

I hear the kids laugh at me

I see kids throw paper at me

I want the kids to stop bullying me

I am a strong young man

I pretend to fit in with people who bothered me

I feel proud to be me

I touch people when I do well

I worry about people all the time

I pray for homeless people

I cry for gay marriage

I am a strong young man

I understand when people bothered me

I say things are not fine

I am a man who takes responsibility for what I have done

I dream about men taking responsibilities for them

I try to do my best every day

I hope to continue to work hard and pursue my careers

I am Daniel Ray Williams
