Not A World At All

Not A World At All

A Poem by Danielle Nicole

The dream proposal.

It's impossible to see
A world without you and me.
A world so lonely and blue
Is a world that's devoid of you-
You know it's true
You know I love you.
And I pray you love me too.
For my world would be so lonely
If it was without my one and only.

The one I’m always around.

The lover that I have found.

A world without you
Is a world without a view.

And I would know what to do-

If you decided “We’re through”.
It's very true.
A world without you-
Isn't a world at all…

I’m nothing without you.

And just like I’d never doubt you-

You must have trust in me too.

This ring is a symbol, made of diamond and gold.

A symbol of a promise, you’re about to be told.

I promise I’m yours, to have and to hold.

On bended knee

In the freezing snow.

All I feel is the love-

Feel its warmth? See its glow?

Because I do- its why I must ask you…

I must tell you…

You’re all I want and all I need. I love you Baby. Will you marry me?
