My cousin Lee passed away unexpectedly.

Missing You

 

We never imagined your reason why

You’d leave us all to soar above

Our hearts mourn as we say goodbye

Just know Lee, you were loved

 

Sometimes it’s best that we not ask why

There are reasons why we hurt so much

Sometimes it’s worth a heartfelt cry

That we reach out and keep in touch

 

Let this not be our last goodbye

Let us pray that life continues on

For those who love and are left behind

To witness another dusk til dawn

 

Until we see you again someday

Thank you for those memories you adorned

We will move ahead in life although

Each day remembered will be mourned

 

Until we meet again…
