Will

Will

A Poem by Danny J.H.
"

in case i die before i wake, my final testament

"

I don’t want to be remembered

I don’t want to be forgotten

I want to live apart of earth

Till the earth is earth no more

Find me, take me, open me up

Relinquish my heart from my earthly body

Make my heart of the blood it drinks

Pour me into the ground over which I lay

Give of this and others here

To my friends and lovers dear

Only two who make my heaven

Known them I have years for seven

If not alive are they today

Settle for david that I may

Let him to my lively rhings

For he can surely take the strings

Forbid art thee who taketh heed

You shant gain of my honored creed

Only three and three alone

Can take his things beneath the stone

If any other wisheth worse

Have him burn in his own hearth

Not to god, not to hell

Yet this life he shant fair well

This is my will and my testament

I shant take the time to write the rest of it

Share my legacy dark and mad

Remember all nay too sad

Life tis a joke

And death a punch

Till the stroke

Of midday hunch

March!, march!

Into the abyss

Stop just stop

And give me last kiss
