Death and Decay

Death and Decay

A Poem by Suavis_Umbra
"

Death and decay grew inside of me,

"
Death and decay grew inside of me,
I know not that it is there,
It's volume, it's mass , its just like hair.
It corrupts , it grows stems ,  and it's in the air.
I became this entity; slowly crumbling away,
smudging - thin blood soup over - and over in a day.
I became thin and deprived of life's bay.
A grey shadow then branched through me across,
not white - nor black,  something I did - not yet know.
It spread quickly like a disease , like moss.
It spread upon me , it would've bestow,
sadness and misery and a banshee's woe.
We will dance for a day,
The fireworks will burn and spray
Across the sky and for a moment it shall obey,
it shall answer to you the secrets,
of death and decay.
