this is for someone very special in my life

I was once broken

all the pieces of my heart

were scattered across the floor

and low and behold

my lonely heart

you saw past my scars

and all my tears

to see the beauty 

encapsulated underneath

you picked up my pieces 

and made me whole again

for you are the healer of my heart
