Heaven

There are stars in your eyes -

They twinkle and laugh, 

Brilliant and lustrous,

They never cease to shine.

Amidst the darkness your eyes glisten -

You never fail to illuminate the night. 

There is a sun in your heart - 

Its rays shoot out through your fingers

And spill over to me when you hold my hand.

I feel the warmth in your smile,

I see the blazing passion in your life

Bright and burning -

You are a fire that can never be put out.

There are rainbows in your veins -

Fueling your every move.

You paint the world in different colors

And wrap me in your joyful glow.

You are lovely and vibrant,

A spectrum of life -

The rain could never dull your radiance.

There are galaxies in your soul -

The cosmos is yours to float on your dreams.

You open your soul to me

And I can see the endless mystery,

Filled with ethereal songs and celestial beauty -

I never cease to be amazed,

For I am holding onto the universe -
