Dare to be Nude

I slowly rolled down the window...my breath hitches as I try to drag in a gulp of air

The bright lights of my home town fly by

The dare has been placed upon my sholders...I refuse to seem afraid

My friends laugh in the backseat

They chant in chorus as music blares from the car's sterio

Some derogitory song about a rap star and his hoe

The car slows...I begin to count

One...Two...Three

I fling off my top and yell at the top of my lungs

All the cruizers and unfortunate witnesses caught in the crossfire glimpse my breasts

Drunken guys and girls holler and hoot at my nudity

My friend Veronica presses on the gas

and just like that it is over...and my shirt is back on

We all laugh as we drive out of town...the darkness seeming to swallow us up
