Through My Eyes

Someone who is always there... no matter what.

In the darkest of nights, you are there to comfort me

In the brightest of days, you are there to shield me

from awful things

 

During moments of weakness, you give me strength

During moments of pride, you show me humbleness

so I don’t become a fool

 

While I’m running from fear, you pull me into your embrace,

oh so comforting embrace

While I’m hiding from my pain, you wipe the tears

from my sorrowful face

 

Because through my eyes, you seem to me,

to be,

The definition of pure perfection
