Your sweet and caring ways, your smile and laughter

There no longer is that happily ever after.

I wish I could look into your deep expressive eyes

And really tell you that deserved heartfelt goodbye

I truly loved you with all of my heart

Not one part of me thought we’d be broken apart

You were supposed to be here forever

I did not want you to leave, no never

I know someday soon I will see you again

But until then

I will miss you so much my very special friend

I understand the feeling of losing such a dear friend. A good friend of mine died too last month and the pain that I have felt without even being able to say goodbye...
