One Thousand Views

One thousand views, one thousand views;

how would I choose to use the views as they perused?

They'd probably light a fuse and make me lose my screws.

I've already lost my mind, so may I be excused?

I have to pick up the screws before I loose

them and while I snooze I sing the sad blues.

I hope it's not news to you that I choose

to be my own man because I refuse.

My personality is mine and whose

opinions I listen is to are my tattoos.

All the taboos are erased as I infuse

another dose of my amusing abuse.

"You're too hard on yourself." They overuse

that phrase because I am like old news.

What would one thousand views really do to me? 

Maybe underneath this is some kind of plea

for you to give me a thousand views please?

Haha, just kidding. This is such a breeze.

Throwing raps, rhymes, and so many letters

together as if I could never get better.

But better is better because my better will be best

and eventually I will go and eventually crush the rest

of my critics until there is nothing left for me

to go and crush because they will crumble humbly.

After all, as I rise I'm carrying all my people

and together we are together building a steeple.

Announcing to the world our presence is here to stay

so I apologize if the words that I say

are hurtful or mean or you don't understand

but these are written for my boys and girls at hand.

They always fight and if you aren't really with us

don't turn against us or ever try to dis us.

We are never giving up and we never stop.

Every single year that the crystal ball drops

we start again and we end up going

all the way around the globe, just throwing

all our thoughts around like darts

and sometimes they try to throw them back at our hearts.

Our hearts are made of steel and walls still cage

our most vital organ, but let out the rage.

We continue on this path that we chose

and every day we are letting out our mad flows.

Our achievements are whatever we like

and some of them come as easy as riding a bike.

One of my rewards that I would choose

is for something to get one thousand views.

I don't know. I have been writing on the internet for 12 years. I write to improve. I have been offered rewards and won so call contest. I believe we write to reach a ending. I truly believe we must read other writers. Ancient and new to know improvement. A 1000 views is cool. I believe knowing you believe in your work and love writing make the goal worthwhile. I liked the poem. You made me think this evening.
