Leap of Love

I am jealous of the man holding you on the otherside of the mirror

Why don't you believe me when i tell you, you are beautiful.

I am standing on a cliff,

Waiting for the tide of your love to move in so I may jump,

They say it's a leap of love.

Leap into my arms and let me tell you...I love you.

But if you don't want to it's ok,

I will wait for the sun to set and rise,

I will wait for the invisible star to become a full moon.

I will wait for you, like a lonely man waits for an antidote of love.

When you are ready,

Let us ride through the clouds of heaven,

Find a place we desire and rest eternally.

Rejected love can be the worst sometimes. I like your first line "I am jealous of the man....". I also like the consistency of the narrator - although his love may seem rejected, he still holds true until that love is returned.

care a little less of giving us a story (i can see you worked very hard on this) and let your feelings free a little more, (not that you didn't do it, the methaphor of the leap is very well written) let them write for you :)

This is a most beautiful poem. Full of emotion and yearning. Lovely. Sorry to point out - "Why don't you believe me wen i tell you" should be "when I tell you" and should be "it's a leap of love" and "But if you don't want to it's ok". Great work, keep it up.
