Looking, Waiting, Nothing

a poem for anyone who knows how it feels to wait for something that will never happen.

She seeks...

but she cannot find

her eyes open...

but yet she can't see

her ears listening...

yet there is no sound

why can't she hear or see

she tries so hard

what is she looking for?

noone knows 

not even her

she's waiting...

nothing comes

being patient...

nothing happens

why, how doesn't she know 

what she seeks?

the answer never comes...
