Let my heart

Let my heart

A Poem by Sanober

Let my heart know just this-
the warmth of an evening
cup of green tea,
the joy of kittens snuggling,
and father chuckling,
the blessing of blankets...
butter brownies,
and budding love stories,
the unspeakable bliss
of words that pierce,
the lushness of longing
landslides of tenderness
and the anguish...
of beauty, like dreams lifting,
in an early morning fog.

You really are very good. I am not usually sentimental or one for love poems but this one simply hits the mark & made me come over all warm & gooey.

dear Sanober... you have captured the tenderness
of beauty when kittens snuggle and father chuckles.
The blessings of blankets... and a cup of green tea.
I love a blue sky and a tangerine sun smile... and
your poetry. truly... Pat

The simple things in life....a cup of tea and kittens snuggling. Pleasures too many people overlook. Sanober, I have told you this before....reading your poetry is nearly a spiritual experience. The images you create with your words are indeed LUSH.....and do give us bliss. Your pen is dipped in a well of beauty, my friend. So happy to read you again. Gorgeous! Lydi**
