Tenderest Love

Tenderest Love

A Poem by Sanober

With callused hands
i tasted
the softness
of the moon

 in the coldest
winds, i discovered
 my soul's
warmest fireplace

 in the roughness
of his stubble,
the tenderest love.

The contrast of the calloused hands and the soft moon, he cold and the warmth, and the roughness of his stubble and his tenderness is just fantastic in this very romantic work, Sanober! When there is love, all logic goes out the door. Suddenly, rough stubble is velvet for the soul.....oh so warm and sweet. I loved it. Lydi**

dear Sanober... a lover's soul can be like a
fireplace where embers of tenderness stir
passions with colors of desire and contentment.
Gathering wood and pine cones can create
calluses that will be softened with kisses of
true devotion. Beautiful poetry that lingers
as the cold winds whistle through the pine
and balsam Forest. Wishing you warmth and
love during the season of hope and Joy. Amen ...
truly... Pat
