You made me an artist. 

So let it be told, 

That you are my muse. 

From new until old. 

What makes an Artist?

The Paintbrush?

The Pencil?

The notebook and such?

No. That can not be true. 

For to be an Artist, 

you must be a hero. 

That's what I must be, 

a Fool of a Hero. 

For all to see. 

You made me an Artist. 

I'm still alive,

but better be dead. 

You made me an Artist. 

Never leave my head.

I feel you shouldn't have to change yourself in order to be an artist. Plus, art comes in every shape and form. From drawing to sculpting to painting, etc. Not one person can have a solid definition for what art is because every person has their own way of seeing and/or describing it.
