Your poem is a beautiful expression of patriotism and pride in one's country. The imagery of the streets running red, white, and blue is particularly striking, and it sets the tone for the rest of the poem. I also appreciate the way you've woven in references to the national anthem and the Fourth of July celebrations, as it helps to create a sense of unity and shared experience. The final stanza, where you raise a toast and light fireworks while paying tribute to those who protect our rights, is especially moving, as it reminds us of the sacrifices that others have made so that we can enjoy the freedoms we have today. Overall, I think this poem is a wonderful tribute to America and all that it stands for.
I agree my friend.
"So lets raise a toast
And light the fireworks
While deep in our hearts
We play tribute
To those who potect our right
To bleed red, White, and blue."
Powerful and strong words. I still love the Red, White and Blue. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.

I love this poem of how this holiday that celebrates this great nation’s birthday bring community, family and friends together. A freedom we enjoy and keeping enjoying because of those that serve our country. My son is a Marine.
