ittle bo peep On Halloween

ittle bo peep On Halloween

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
"

I entered a contest on Face book to write a twisted rhyme for Halloween

"

Little bo peep lost her sheep

On that frightful night

That was Halloween.

She went

To every farm.

Looked In every house

And in the barn.

Her heart was racing

As she ran through the fields

For fear and desperation

Would not let her yield.

Then she came across a house

Decorated for this holiday

Where she met a stranger.

Told him her sheep went astray.

He let her in

saying the night is too cold.

then he offered her a meal

And a coat made of wool.

She ate and ate

Before suspicions grew

Then screamed when she realized

it was sheep stew.

Hopefully, it was only the tip of their tails left behind... in the Stew...
and later she found them nursing their Wounds in the Meadows of flowers close to home..
Quite a "Tale" if you twist it a Bit. Only the Wool should be used. quietly, Pat

Oh nooooooo, not sheep stew Dale!!!!! And this poem is surely about a wolf in human clothing. Great verses, imagery & rhyme. A perfect cautionary tale for Halloween. Well-done!

🤣 Brilliant! I hope you'll compose a few more for the anthology! I'd love to have at least five from you.

Snort! I can't decide if this is supposed to be funny, or creepy. Maybe both? My sense of humor is on the twisted side. This made me laugh out loud.

Thank you so much.
Yes Dale. A creepy Halloween tale. Who's next for the cooking pot? Could be Bo Peep. She needs to get out of there :)
