I asked Cristine Shaw to name a title for a poem and I wouild write a poem based on that title

Off The Beaten Track

 

It may be smoother

To go down a road

That has been paved

Long before we were born.

For the journey has fewer bumps

That takes focus off your goals.

 

But taking the simple journey

Is no all it’s craked up to be.

For the idea of smooth sailing

Is like Monopoly money

Ehen it comes to lessons

That make us

Better than we use to be.

There are times when we have to deviate from the path ahead. Sometimes that will involve risks, but until we try we do not know whether it will be successful or not. A different route can pay dividends. Can provide solutions. I like what you have done with the title I suggested Dale.
