Yellow Rose

For my dear friend Amber.

 

 

                                                           

 

Why are you my yellow rose of Texas?

If you asked here's what I'd say...

 

Cause your outer beauty is as natural

as the sun glistening of a rose petal

glowing with classy radiance

for the entire world to see.

May I even say so stunning

that like the northern winds

you take my breath away.

 

Most importantly the beauty of your soul

is like that of a fully bloomed rose

you can't help but be mesmerized

by the blissful nature of it.

Your kindness is the pollen

used to make the world a sweeter place.

 

If only a flower like you

would grow wildly across the land

then I know humanity would win.

 

So if you ever wondered why

I call you my yellow rose

that would be my simple reply.

 

Though there is one difference

between you and a rose…

being beauty like yours is rare.

I must make sure everyone knows the little poem inside the pic isn't mine just something I saw that I thought fit her too and just wanted to put it before my tribute to her.
