Remember The Moon

Remember The Moon

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
"

an ode to friendship

"

When the light of day

Feels like a distant memory

And the sun feels like a friend

Who disappeared

When times got tough.

Just remember…

The dark sky

Is full of a millions stars

Like halos of loved ones remembered

To remind you

There is life after death

And you’re never alone.

So never fear the dark

For remember the moon

Is always watching over you

Like the savior

Showing faith in your inner strength.

Please remember

That even when the sun seams to set

On life’s bounty

I will be there

Among those halos and savior

Giving more friendship and support

Then the galaxy can hold.

Such a beautiful piece. Strong and inspirational. I'm about a year late, but hoping your friend's situation has since greatly improved.

My favorite part ^! I love looking at the night sky and you presented a new way to look at it. :) This brought me comfort. GREAT poem! :)

wow - thank you for sharing this piece. My perception of the moon has shifted and will comfort me because of this writing. The shadows are our friends because it means we are not in total darkness.

Nice tribute to your friendship with Joanie. It shows the value of friendship and makes me long for some lost. It has been a strange few years. Lost many friendly acquaintances and gained a few true friends. Great job showing compassion!
