Lunar Music

Lunar Music

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)

Every night when the city sleeps

Deep in your mind music plays.

Though very faint it is there

Giving a feeling that all is ok.

So many times you look to the sky

Swearing it rides down on moonbeams

And often when your look to the sky

You’re certain you see a piano and wings.

Every note beats with your heart,

Every chord at one with your soul

That this phantom song brings no fear

In fact you welcome the heavenly harmony.

As you go about your life blissfully unaware

This masterpiece is played by your guardian angel

To drown out the negative sounds of evil

That tempts your conscience and goodwill.

Night when all should be peaceful, but the thought process continues. The song that only you can hear sets the mood and pace for the dream state and is often carried over into the waking hours. A harried and crashing cresendo creates chaotic moods, while the melodious tinkling of the ivory key in soft rythmn create a sense of peace and contentment. Kudos for creating a thought provoking piece of word artistry. As always an unusual writing from your pen.

I love the idea of this piece. A phantom in the night is your guardian angel guiding you through the dark.. Very nice. I think I'm going deaf or not listening might need to work on that lol

And did you mean played dear as opposed to This masterpiece is play by your guardian angel??????? :)
