Desperation

Desperation

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

Feels like a storm is blowing in on my life

The thunder and lightning is knocking me down

Should I put up a fight

Can't take anymore

Pain and strife

The struggle is killing me

Need to break free

Desperation it seems

Took hold of my dreams

Blown away by high winds

Feels like there's a storm blowing in on my life

The thunder and lightning is knocking me down

Should I put up a fight

Can't take anymore

Pain and strife

Feels like a storm is blowing in on my life

Love these lines.

The poem is scary, like giving up like suicide. So many trails effect us until sometimes we feel like we can't take anymore.

Should I put up a fight
Can't take anymore
Pain and strife

Yes put up a fight, even if you get knocked down get back up and fight some more.

A powerfully penned piece... the storm of life often turns into a hurricane throwing you around till you don't know which way is up... I certainly know how this feels, you just hold on till the sun comes out to dry things up.
