What If Heaven Was A Place?

What If Heaven Was A Place?

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

What if heaven was a place

Called planet Earth

And the Creator walked among us

What if heaven was a place

Like this beautiful garden

And we were created

To take care of it

What if heaven was a place

like this Eden

With trees and animals

River and streams

Mountains and vallies

Filled with such wondrous things

What if heaven was a place

Where you could see God's face

In the eyes of every child born

What if heaven was a place

With rain and snow

Sleet and hail

Wind and sunshine too

What if heaven was a place

Not so far away

Would we take care of her

Would we cherish her

If heaven was a place

Where the Creator

Walked with us

Talked with us

Died for us

I'm afraid a lot of people still wouldn't take care of it--especially if there was profit to be made.
