My local library

My local library

A Poem by dadist poetic
"

bored..in class..wrote this

"

My local library

Of wooden shelves bearing one another

Embracing vertically aligned books

Like an embryo in the womb of it's mother

A book with a name tattooed forever

Pronouncing verbally for the eye which looks

A manifesto to be read with pleasure

Words flowing in a hundred pages of treasure

Telling a story of a plot which hooks

Sending the reader thrills or even a shiver

That forest of intertwining trees

Withholding fruits of knowledge

For the one who picks a book and reads

In my local library
