Most of my family has served- from WWI to present- My nephew is a Marine & did several tours in Afghanistan- now he organizes the Boston Wounded Veterans Run up in Massachusetts & raised $80,000. last year- He is quite amazing! As is all of our men and woman that serve. So thank you... With all my heart.

when I read you I often wonder what me Poppy would think
he was my grandfather but adopted me at birth-he was a marine lifetime career
he taught me everything I am and will be-he was awarded the silver star /Korea
this is true to form-I spent many nights in my front yard crawling with him as he dreamed so many wars...I loved those nightly battles with all of my light
and giving enemies s**t-went on all night long even if he was just dreaming I wasn't
