We all bloody witnesses..you just had a closer view, while others (the states) were able to close their blinds and hide behind words like " It is God's will"….. as of yet..I have not seen God behind any of these bombs or deeds done.. So much to say..but I should stop before it becomes a rant..

In time of war, children should not be used for shields and blackmail. Why are these militants doing this? Why are they so cold and heartless as to use schools and hospitals as bases of operation? As far as I know, such diabolical behavior has nothing to do with the Moslem religion. Just what is the religion of these militants? Are they the modern disciples of Molekh?

The question we need to ask is what is Israel's military strategy and why are they killing so many civilians. Israel is a small, powerful country with an immigration problem that could be relieved by opening Gaza and surrounding territories to Jewish settlements. I'm not blind to HAMAS and the PLO's assaults on Israel and the Jewish people nor am I blind to Israel's history of excessive use of military force and the brutal occupation of the Palestinian people. What the Jewish people have suffered throughout history, perhaps no other people from the crescent lands, or from anywhere for that matter, have been brutalized as much as they have. After all the Jewish people have suffered, perhaps we should expect better from Israel besides slaughtering civilians in the name of security. Perhaps we should expect better than the brutal subjugation of the Palestinian people. Perhaps we should expect for Israel to be a beacon of humanity in a difficult and violent region of the world rather than the military iron fist they have been pounding the Palestinians with for so long. Perhaps we should ask for better because the Jewish people can do better. Perhaps we need a new middle east script that Israel alone could write.

Make no mistake, Israel is holding all the aces here. They could lead the world to a new peace in the middle east. It wouldn't be easy and Israel would have to take it on the chin from HAMAS for a time and make concessions Israel doesn't want to make. But HAMAS are not NAZIS and a reasonable peace can be achieved between Israel and the Palestinian people. Israel has to make the first concession. The Palestinians have nothing to make concessions with.

The reason why Israel is killing so many civilians as collateral damage is because HAMAS militants are attacking Israel civilians with rockets and cross border raids from armed militant outposts where they use innocent civilians as shields. Israel believes that it is defending its civilians by destroying the militant threat. It is my hope that a permanent peace is arrived at soon before an arms race ensues where HAMAS acquires and decides to use exotic weapons of mass destruction, chemical, biological, nanotech, or nuclear delivered by intelligent land, sea, and air drones and/or high speed rail guns. Everyone in the Middle East is terrified by the threat of an arms escalation of weapons of mass destruction that could kill tens of millions in just a few house if used. There is no guarantee that violence would cease if Gaza is opened to surrounding territories because many of the radicals in HAMAS wish to have all the territory. I think that the violence would just escalate if Israel gave in to the demands of HAMAS. There may be no solution to this problem other than the total destruction of both societies in a war of mass extinction through the use of weapons of mass destruction sometime in the far future. All we can do is sit back and watch the fireworks as two theocracies annihilate each other for this is what combative theocracies do. And have done all through human history. We’re lucky that we have freedom of religion in the United States.

I truly admire the efforts of these people to bring awareness as well as your willingness to spread the news about what's currently taking place. Attention must be brought to what Israel is doing. The West has been taught to blame HAMAS and by extension the Palistinian people. The west needs to ask why Israel is slaughtering civilians on such a huge scale. That kind of slaughter can be avoided so what's Israel's game?

I'm on the side of the civilians. Palestinian and Israeli. A great many Israelis are dead set against what Israel has been doing to the Palestinians and a great many Palestinians are dead set against what HAMAS has been doing to Israel. It's largely up to the Israelis to change the dynamic though. They're holding all the aces.
