Trying to save their names 

The media despises you 

and plays you for a fool

If you debate your enemy 

She'll take your a*s to school 

Everything you say is wrong 

Every word's a joke 

The press is running over you 

They'll ruin you for broke 

You're losing all the swing state polls 

You're screwing up the map 

What might turn red is going blue 

You'll never close that gap 

You fucked your party royally 

They have a lot to lose 

If they lose their senate seats

It's you they will accuse

And I don't think you give a s**t 

You're gonna throw this race 

Your nomination's a fiasco 

America's disgrace 

The left is sure to slaughter you 

Yes you'll be crucified 

What in the hell do you expect

At this point it's not whether Trump's going to win or lose. The question is how big of a fiasco his inevitable defeat is going to be for the Republican party. Will the senate flip is the real race at this point. Trump's done. Even the republicans know that.

It's interesting to note that you posted this back in August . . . things haven't changed much! Even tho there have been moments when people were patting Trump on the back for not sticking his foot in his mouth for a few days in a row, reading this like a "pivot" (I've come to hate that word). Anyhow, your sentiments are well-expressed, matching many including my own, & good rhyme & rhythm, too.
