You

You

A Story by Bryan A.
"

Written about the girl of my dreams...

"

My heart is pounding harder and harder in my chest, all because you're looking at me.  You smile, and my whole body goes weak.  I want so badly to hold you, to call you mine.  Can you see how much I need you?  Do I really make you happy?  I hope so.  That's all I ever wanted.  I want you to be happy, I want you to smile, I want you to dream, I want you.  That's all there is to it.  I'm not sure I can have you, but I can dream, right?

I go to sleep every night, dreaming of you.  Because at least when I dream of you, I'm happy.

You make me smile, and I can finally breathe.  Do you see how happy you've made me?  I can smile again.  For once, I feel truly alive.

I love you.

Do you love me?

Very rough in my eyes, but this is what was on my mind.

Hmmm...the fact that every review is from a girl who no doubt feels this way about you, or at least something like it, kind of takes away from their words of praise. I hate to be the party-pooper at the fan club you've got going on here, love, but the poem is crap, and "rough" is a nice word for it. People think that you write down how you feel and it's a poem. How many times must I say it?? A poem has to mean something. It is art. It is work and perfection and flowing and uncovering feelings in others. THIS is not a poem. It is a paragraph about high-school lust. And even as that it is not even remotely powerful. If you are not as repulsively self-obsessed as your writing and your picture suggest, send me a message and tell me to get lost. Othere than that- learn to write.
