Feels like thunder

running through me

clouds curl 

my body 

into 

helplessness

and lightening 

as it

strikes my mind

teeth clenching

fist trembling

shivers across my spine

rain pouring

little massive

down my back

and I just lay there

flat

hoping it

destroys me.

The way, you have spaced out the word "raindrops" , enhances the extent of your distress, really very effective and a clever piece, great work, here :)

I don't quite remember the speaker, but: `` She was like the rain. She didn't mind falling, as long as she wan't alone. ``
It sounds as if this were the opposing perspective on the said line, laying there while the raindrops pattered on you, making it feel as if the world was against you. I liked this.
