Passive wind

Passive wind

A Poem by oldsoul78

Let this passive wind take me away

let it float me above the troubled weather below

and if it's to take me away

let it be somewhere I may call home

It's not that I can't bear the storms

because I've learned rainboots aren't in fashion

it's because my feather of a heart has been rained on for far too long

and can't seem to catch wind anymore

So passive wind, take me away

away from the raging gusts below

For I know you'll take me somewhere at peace

to a new place I can make my home
