Oh! It Started Raining

a brief about rain

             

Dense clouds cover the shining sun.

The morning is turning into night.

Winds blow fast; pretty umbrellas are seen 

outside.

Animals run to the shelter.

The hot day is vanishing they say.

The thundering sound, lightening in sky scares; I hid under my desk.

All doors are shut and windows are closed, 

mine too.

OH! It started raining!

The fine smell of dust. What a pleasure!

It’s only cool and cool.

It’s becoming heavy with every boring  

second.

Today my friends didn't come to play.

Has someone forgotten to close tap in the 

sky?

The window is full with droplets.

The sun glows again in the clear sky.

Rainbow smiles with seven colors. What a scenario!

OH! It stopped raining!

a perfect description of what children feel like when it rains heavily. Their young bodies are not strong enough to play in the rain showers like the older ones. They feel disappointed and melancholy, only later to marvel at the gorgeous beauty of a majestic rainbow. Later, when they grow up, they too dance in the rain, and become children again. A wonderful poem, reminds me of when I was a small chubby child.
