impalpable and nebulous

impalpable and nebulous

A Poem by Tessah

 I cried in the water

choked sobs in the night.

suffocated, masked within heaven's light

the cosmos caught me on its liberated wing,

through the portal I'd left open - my mind's passage slumber ring

she flew me through the blackened sky, flesh and bone dissolve

no sense of pain or sadness there, my heart, it did evolve.

weightless in existence, love the only thing I feel,

my spirit's inner demons evanesce, begin to heal.

I am exclusively spirit. inhuman.

I am a gaseous breath that fills your lungs and cleanses the speech

a rolling wave at tide to wash upon your skin

the earth, eternally stretching beneath the soles of your feet that you tread upon

I am space and time and thought and emotion and gravity

I am everlasting

I am pure elation

free

and heaven's eyes open up to me.

and a spectrum of color pours upon me

and I am immersed in the fall, the greatest fall to ever occur

of everything in the world, no

the galaxy, no

the universe, no

everything that has ever existed, everything you could dream

holds me with open arms

cradling me like a baby

as I sleep
