This was written for a six word story contest and inspired by the song "In the Ghetto." The song was written by Mac Davis, originally titled "The Vicious Circle" and first performed by Elvis Presley.

Six Word Stories are so hard to review unless you're Ernest Hemingway... lol... I do like the incorporation of that classic song, I seem to be a child of the 19th Century in my musical tastes, but they span to cover anything beautiful and that was a great song (:
