Many Nights

Many Nights

A Poem by The Analog Kid
"

An encounter with an old friend

"
Decades burned.

Regrets.

I thought of this many nights

in my youth.

Fate.

Delayed rights of passage.

It did

happen.

And it soothed my soul

and connected

my heart

back to days

gone by

and

you.

No regrets.

Reflecting on the past after an encounter with an old friend. It is far wiser to live our lives without regrets. Negativity serves no purpose. That wisdom normally comes with age. Nicely expressed.

Better late than never seems to apply here. There are some things that are just primal to nature.

Well done. :)

Thanks a lot. Don't get on here much. Nice to meet you.
Nice flow of thoughts and a honest ending. Regret, just scars to remind us. We have lost something or someone special. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry my friend..
