Unavailable

I need her, but my mind keeps saying no.

Emotionally unavailable, 

Mentally unstable.

He hides behind the walls he has built.

Afraid to love,

He runs away from what he craves most.

Physically fine,

But mentally bruised.

His distorted thoughts,

And vision of inadequacy

Torment his life.

He seeks perfection,

But to no avail.

He makes excuses

To avoid people and reality.

He blinds himself to the love he deserves.

He is me.
