She doesn't know what she is worth,

Because he never tells her what she means to him,

Or how complete his life is just being in her presence.

She liberates his fears and insecurities,

But he only heightens hers.

Not much of a symbiotic relationship,

More like parasitic. 

It's so unfortunate to her,

Scratching her way out of the chrysalis

That encapsulates the butterfly she is trying to be.

If only he knew what he was doing,

If only he told her what she meant to him,

If only he wasn't so distant

And emotionally detached,

If only if only.

Aw...this is such a bittersweet piece. True words here. The emotions are very well conveyed. I truly loved this.
