I like the simplicity - it also mirrors the point of the poem (as I read at least :)): that things do not need to be more complicated then what we make them out to be.
This is just a preference: 'forever' seems somehow a bit flat compared to my expectations from the previous three lines.
Overall, I liked it :)

I do not have a word that springs into mind... But what I mean is your imagery in the first three lines are very tangible and down to earth - and the word 'forever' floats up somewhere in the air far from the rest of the poem (for me, this is a subjective opinion)

Perhaps:
Misunderstandings wont be there
If we truly wish to solve it once and for all.

But ask others what they think, I may be wrong...

You are doing very well. Writing is practice and learning. I receive help from a few kind India teens here on W.C. They edit my work. Many way to expand words. I go to the dictionary sometime and find strong words to help me create. I re-write my 40 year poetry. When I was young. Editing wasn't my skill.
