The Truth

The Truth

A Poem by Day Dreamer

People say love is everything, but at times love aint everything. Love decieves sometime.

The love is carnal, a lover is a sinner.
Love was never there neither is now here.
All are actresses and actors
They are playing the role of their characters.

If they say "I love you",
Don't forget "Everything will dry out under the sun like a dew"
If they say "I care for you"
Definitely they are talking about the faded hue.

It obviously gives you intense pleasure.
But shaves away all the happiness like a razor.
For a moment we become the prince and the princesses,
We are ignorant to see through the fragile glasses.

We become blind in love and affection,
And come up with meaningless decision.
Knowingly that we are getting inside the pit which is hollow,
And regardless we tend to follow.

thank you very much means a lot....
Still writing poems of excellence :) Much truth is engraved in this poem. Love isn't always what it appears to be an can have some pretty abnormal effects on us. Beautiful work
