Swimming

Swimming

A Poem by Debbie Barry
"

A new nursery rhyme, which popped into my head in the night.

"

Swimming

Johnny went to take a swim,

But he was scar’d of the water.

Jacky dove in, fine and trim,

But Johnny said he hadn’t ought’er.

Initial reactions and constructive criticism welcome. This is meant to resemble a traditional nursery rhyme.
