Hot Beetles

Hot Beetles

A Poem by Debbie Barry
"

A little nursery rhyme about a frog, inspired by the unseasonable heat.

"

Hot Beetles

The froggy peep’d out from under the log,

Where he was hiding from the blazing heat;

He peer’d about, and flick’d out his long tongue,

And a big, juicy beetle he did eat.
