Uncertainties

Uncertainties

A Poem by Prometheus
"

The uncertainty of a lasting love between a young lover and a mature woman.

"
You have fears and doubts,
But none of them for me.
You doubt against yourself.
You fear what I will see.
Let me reassure you, my Love,
You have naught to fear!
For how I feel about you?
You have no peer!
All your petty uncertainties.
You to me have confessed.
Your heart is free of debt,
And my Love for you is ageless!
So calm your anxious heart.
And ease your worried mind.
I searched long and hard for you,
And won't let go of you.
Now that you are mine!

I can imagine one or both having these doubts and fears. We question our age, young and old, and when there’s a gap, we often question if the other will accept us. Nice job conveying those emotions in this poem. You write well!

I've always had the habit of over analyzing things. It's a hard habit to break, especially when it comes to love.

Nice to meet you, Prometheus!
