Politics is the devil's game 

Politicians are all the same 

We argue issues with baited breath 

And are saved from taxes in our death 

Our economy is based on war

Politicians battle on the Congress floor 

Soldiers die in foreign lands 

Their blood is on our greedy hands

Wars have gone and more have came

Politicians are to blame

Every word true.. every thought laid clearly.. hence worth remembering. And yes, politicans have much to answer for and always have. Someone wrote something like, If ever you want an example of an evil man, look to Satan, the best of the worst of all politicians!

Poetically profound and true! They all hide behind a coloured banner proclaiming their party allegiance - but to the rest of us - they are all self-centred and transparent! Nice one .... :-)

i like the poem it describes about politics and politicians in reality. the drive for power is relentless, the greed is like an unquenchable thirst and how dirty they are in real life but looks immaculate in front of the camera. my president in my country is suffering from a mental disease and i hate what he is doing to my countrymen. thanks for the wonderful piece.
