Hope

Hope

A Poem by dreaming dame
"

I just sort of put together a lot of thoughts,so I hope it makes sense to you.

"

I think of you night and day.

Escape you?I have tried every way,

But your words of love, eyes of truth.

I'm weak,hold me; your strong.

The moments, days without you are so long.

I look up and see your eyes,

I'm never to be free again.

You're still holding me, enchanting.

I feel a loud, quiet sigh,

Your letting me go, I can stand alone.

But no,I can't,

I'm in the dirt.

I've fallen, but you don't see,

You turned around, you've moved on,

I lay in the dust, crying salty tears

of loss and shame,

hear I am; the dying dame.

My greater good, my strength,

has waiked away, moved on.

Once again, hurt triumphs.

It was a battle, it's over now,

and I've lost.

Oh, what i've lost;

I'm losing strength,

no longer in the dust.

My blood, in pools, form crimson mirrors

to the sky, threatning evil

Promising to avenge me, to seek revenge,

But  no, I forbid you to harm him.

Desparetely almost; I call out,

''I need you, please, please help.

I feel my heart slow,10...9...8...

somehow, I keep breathing,

Alas, I can take no more.

I scream in agony,

And my heart;   7...6...5...

I see your eyes once more,

Your eyes!? It's you!

Hold me, mend me.

4...3...2...

A confession of love,

your holding me, I feel your strength; hope,

Your eyes, I've been captured and freed,

Your love alone, has restored my life.

I'm alive; we are one,

Our love, together

are the rays of the sun,

telling the world of hope.

Forever.
