two loversA Poem by h d e rushinI love the way there's nothing you can do about it. Kinda like the poem you try to write but scratch the journal so hard you tear the words beneath it down like prophecy. Sometimes I hate the internet. Further evidence of yourself perhaps being brave amongst the Alstroemeria colored greens, the ointment, the weapons we use to lunge at each other's throats. How you let the phone ring three times before my blend of glare and gaze. They will say of us losers when they see us together, that we touched the dampened fingers of our youth and coughed up the yellow eyed lacewings of our souls.
